Briones

I had today off.  The original plan was to go to the gym (done) and go bowling and use my coupon for two free games (not done because my legs were stiff and sore from the gym).  I checked out Briones Regional Park in Martinez.  I walked the trails, I sat and watched the animals, that I think were raccoons.  There was cattle grazing and it was a popular horse trail with stables nearby.  I didn't have any profound thoughts as I communed with nature, but I was and still am peaceful after the visit.  It's something I will do again.  Maybe different parks.
